I am Irish....... I should know everything about St. Patrick's Day, right?  
Wrong.  I knew some of these facts but definitely not all!

1) March 17th was the day St. Patrick died.
2) St. Patrick wasn't Irish.
3) St. Patrick was a slave.
4) St. Patrick used the shamrock to preach about the trinity.
5) Legend says St. Patrick drove all the snakes from Ireland.
6) Patrick's color is blue.
7) They Shamrock is not the symbol of Ireland.
8) There are more Irish in the USA than Ireland.
9) St. Patrick's Day in the US has a strong political history.
10) St. Patrick's was a dry holiday in Ireland until 1970!!!!!
